Star Wars: Galactic Racer has no season pass, and no paid DLC has been announced yet. The developers have confirmed that more content is coming after launch, but they have not said what it is, when it arrives or whether it will be free or paid. The only extra content on sale today is the Deluxe Edition's bonus pack.
Is there a season pass?
No. In an early interview reported by Gamereactor, game director Matt Webster rejected the idea, saying a season pass is connected to free-to-play games and "that's not what we are making." Creative director Kieran Crimmins described the plan as a premium release, adding that the team would not close the door to doing something later.
Fuse Games has consistently framed the game as a complete package at launch, with a campaign, Arcade and multiplayer, rather than a live-service game built around paid seasons.
Is post-launch DLC confirmed?
Yes, in general terms. Star Wars News Net reported in July 2026 that Webster, asked whether new pilots could arrive after launch, answered that "there will be things to come post launch." When asked for specifics, such as new pilots or species, he declined to comment. At a later preview event he clarified that wanting a complete game at launch did not mean nothing would follow.
That is a commitment to post-launch content, not a roadmap. As of October 11, 2026, no DLC name, price, date or content list has been announced.
What has been released since launch?
So far, updates rather than DLC:
- A hotfix for PC players followed on October 8, per the official Steam news hub.
- The developers have said an upcoming patch will double the multiplayer party limit, according to VGC, and Bespin Bulletin reported that private lobbies were also addressed.
The patch notes page logs each update as it lands.
What extra content can you buy today?
The Deluxe Edition is the only paid extra. Steam lists it at $79.99 against $59.99 for the standard game, and it adds:
| Deluxe extra | What it is |
|---|---|
| Three exclusive speeders | Additional vehicles |
| Three Arcade events | Extra single-player challenges |
| N-1 starfighter livery | Cosmetic vehicle livery |
| Player banner | Cosmetic profile item |
| Digital art book | Bonus artwork |
Steam currently lists one DLC entry for the game. Whether owners of the standard edition can buy the Deluxe content separately as an upgrade depends on your store; check the listing before buying. The Deluxe Edition guide compares it with the standard and Collector's editions.
What about the Collector's Edition?
The Collector's Edition is a physical bundle at $159.99 in the US announcement. It is not DLC and does not unlock future content; see the Collector's Edition guide for what is in the box.
What might future DLC include?
Nothing is confirmed. The interview question that prompted the "things to come" answer was about new pilots, and Webster would not say more. Treat any specific list you see elsewhere as speculation until Fuse Games or Secret Mode announce it. The current roster and tracks are covered in the characters and planets guides.
Should you wait for DLC before buying?
There is no announced DLC to wait for. Buy based on the game as it is today: a three-act campaign, Arcade, Scenarios and online play. If you want the extra speeders and Arcade events, the Deluxe Edition is the way to get them now.
